Packed in 12kg cartons each crab is individually sealed for freshness. How many crabs to a carton depends on the size of the crabs. For the medium crabs the number in each carton would be 17-22. For the large crabs, the count would be 12-16 crabs per carton.
FROZEN COOKED WHOLE SPANNER CRAB
Spanner Crab meat is coarser in texture than other species and is known for its relatively sweet flavour that is more distinct than other crabs. Ready to eat, the crab can be portioned for an impressively presented meal or the meat can be extracted. Dinner is served!

This crab has had the carapace (back shell) removed, is cooked and ready to eat - great for buffets and no work to be done, just serve. The crab has been cut through the centre to the underbelly shell, this means it can be snapped in half by hand giving you easy access to all that lovely meat.

Preservation tip: Don't want to use the full 12kg at once - seal the remainder in plastic bags to avoid freezer burn and it will keep for up to 18 months from production date.
